US MAD MAGAZINE COMPLETE COLLECTION In a moment of madness – and due to the declining share market – I’ve decided to ‘test the comic book market’ and offer my wonderful US Mad Magazine collection for sale. EVERY issue of American Mad Magazine since 1952. There are over 500 magazines from issue number 1 to now. This is a one-off opportunity as I won’t be offering the collection for sale again (at least not in the short term). I’m not a dealer … just a Mad Magazine fan who (thanks to eBay) happens to have collected all the magazines. It’s taken me quite a few years to get them … so the starting price of this auction represents the amount that I can bear to let them go for. Comics would be quite a good investment for someone wanting something a little different. In fact, if someone has the time to list each magazine individually, you’d probably make a tidy profit, especially if you sell to the US, with our dollar the way it is. Every magazine is in a special plastic storage bag, and acid free backing board. They are beautifully boxed and have been carefully stored for years. A majority of the issues (probably over 300) are in mint condition, with hundreds of them in their original mailing wrapper, complete with the subscription notices still intact.
